Welcome to term 4
It's Book Week!!
On Thursday it's book swap and on Friday it's dress up day. Most people are excited about it. Riley is going to dress up as green grass. Natesha is dressing up as a tulip. C'era is dressing up as Katness from the Hunger Games.
Every day other teachers are coming into Room 8. Yesterday Ms Davies read a fantastic book called Underpants wonderpants.
Kia ora and welcome to our class blog! We are an enthusiastic class made up of 27 Year 3 and 4 students. Our two teachers are Ms Rawson and Mrs Hikuroa. Come and check out what we have been up to. We would love to hear from you, so please leave a message!

The rainbow circles
A rainbow circle with lots of colours that we could play in.
We made it with the same object circles and sticks with squares at the bottom.
Riley and Sian called it the...

Our trip to Isel Park
The sun was shining, grass was crunching, leaves were rustling, birds were chirping, engines were rumbling, children were chattering.
We had such a great time at Isel Park. The monarch butterflies were so beautiful. They were stretching out in the sun to warm up and fluttering around us.
Aren't we a handsome bunch?!?
Can you spot the purerehua?

Our trip to New World
Food for thought....
We have been looking at the Food Pyramid and found a variety of foods at our local supermarket to discuss.
Foods that we should eat a lot of, like fruit and vegetables went at the bottom of the Pyramid which is the biggest part.
Foods that we should eat in little of like chocolate went in the top of the Pyramid which is the smallest part.
Java Dance
We were so lucky to have the Java Dance crew come and perform at our school. Room 8 were at the edge of their seats!

What's going on outside Room 8?
We heard a NOISE.What was it!It was a truck - a concrete truck! Was it coming straight towards our building? NO! It was pouring some concrete for the new path.
